Kate

Kate grew up in the small town in of Laurel Mississippi, and later graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she majored in Mass Communications with a focus on Broadcast and Production. While at USM, she was honored to serve as Miss University of Southern Mississippi 2007.

For the past 13 years, Kate embraced her role as a Specialist Educator, where she served in a number of capacities. Theater has always been a huge part of her life and some of her favorite roles are Shelby in “Steel Magnolias,” Jo in “Little Women the Musical,” Belle in “Beauty and the Beast,” Jean Marie (Scout) in “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and Stella in “A Streetcar Named Desire.” She’s also directed kids’ camp productions, inspiring young talents along the way.

When it comes to art, Kate is a mixed media enthusiast who mainly works with oil and acrylic paints. She loves creating portraits and impressionist pieces that capture emotion and tell a story. Her artwork has been featured on HGTV’s “Hometown”.

These days, Kate is happily married to Landon of LandonTalks, and together they’re raising their amazing 11-year-old, 3 cats and a dog. She’s living her dream as a content creator and artist, feeling grateful every day to do what she loves.
