Catherine

Hailing from Gaffney, SC, Catherine is thrilled to be apart of the Southern Women Channel! She first met Julia as a little girl taking dance classes. She’s been performing since she was teeny tiny, wowing audiences with her tap dancing, beauty pageants, and ventriloquism. Catherine is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. After relocating to Atlanta, Kat completed The Horizon Theatre’s Apprenticeship and went on to perform on professional theatre stages across the southeast. She has been seen in NCIS: New Orleans (CBS) and Cannes Film Festival acclaimed films Heartbreak Happy and Tragiometry.

Not only an actor, Catherine is a writer and director, working alongside her husband, Fray Forde. Signed to 3 Arts Entertainment, CESD, & People Store Talent Agency, Fray Forde & Catherine Dee Holly are the couple make up Coki Productions, named after their furry canine child. They are the team behind the 2016 short film Good Hair which was selected by Kevin Hart to screen at the world’s largest comedy festival, Just For Laughs 2017.

Catherine Dee Holly and Fray Forde aim to showcase small-town life with their debut feature film “Pop-Pop is Dead.” The southern comedy tells the story of millennial couple Layla Bailey (Holly) and Desi West (Forde) as they return to Layla’s hometown of Gaffney, South Carolina to mourn the loss of family patriarch “Pop Pop.” As the couple struggles to survive three days with Layla’s dysfunctional Southern family they quickly come to learn that funerals ain’t fun. Pop-Pop Is Dead, premiered at LiveNation’s Buckhead Theatre to over 600 attendees in Atlanta, GA and was a hit on the film festival circuit.

Now based in Los Angeles, CA, Catherine is hard at work developing the next slate of projects for Coki Productions. You can check out all of her work and more at coki.tv.
