Growing up in the theater community around Charlotte, Alex had more than 15 professional productions under her belt before she left for college.

Alex graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater from ELON University.  After graduation, she hit the road starring as Millie Dillmount in the Broadway National tour of  “Thoroughly Modern Millie.”  She moved to New York City shortly after and went on in be in Broadway productions of “Legally Blonde” (National Tour), and the original Broadway companies of  “Catch Me If You Can”  and “On A Clear Day You Can See Forever” (starring Harry Connick Jr.).

Since moving to Los Angeles, Alex has dabbled in it all. She shot a scene in her first feature, “Moose”, starring John Travolta, directed by Fred Durst, out in theaters in 2019. You can also hear her as the role of Cosmina on Disney’s children’s animated show, “Vampirina.” She has had TV spots on “Hot in Cleveland”, “Hollywood Darlings”, and “The Goldbergs.” Alex also spotlights as one of the lead singers in a 70’s Yacht Rock cover band called Harbor Party, that plays all over LA.   She was recently part of the 2019 CBS Diversity Showcase , and has a short film, “Chance of Showers”,  in which she wrote, starred in and produced,  making it’s way around the film festival circuit.

Alex is thrilled to be apart of the Southern Women Channel club! She often day dreams of Bojangles, Ranch dressing and if opening a Waffle House out here in Los Angeles is a good business endeavor? Her favorite weekend of the year is the Stagecoach Country Music Festival of course! If Alex wasn’t an actor, she’d wanna be a Dixie Chick….or Vanna White.
